Dartmouth

Today we had a ride on a steam train.  We went to visit a friend, Audrey, who lives in Teignmouth. Getting the boat there looked a bit difficult so we took the easy option of a steam train to Paignton and then a modern train on from there. There was certainly much more room in old style carriages.  The line skirted Torbay and we could see lots of white Englishmen on the beaches enjoying themselves. There were also waterslides and funfairs, beach huts and lots of ice cream and fish and chip shops
