Dartmouth

Fish so fresh tomorrows are still in the sea. That's the motto of the restaurant we're in. I'm waiting for my cod, chips and mushy peas. I've had that meal a few times in the last 2 months. We made an early start out of the Yealm. On the way in we had barely half a metre of water under the keel. Leaving at high tide I had over 5 metres. The sea was choppy and visibility poor as we laboured our way East. Once we rounded Start point the sea became much smoother but the wind dropped. We motored the last 10 miles and arrived at the Marina in time for a late lunch. We cleaned the boat and took the ferry across the river into town.
