Helford River
Iain had to go up the mast again this morning but we now have a working main halyard. Lucinda went off shopping while Iain and I visited the maritime museum. We each had a Cornish pasty walking down to the museum and then another on the way back. Lucinda didn't have a pasty. After lunch we refuelled and sailed 6 miles to the Helford River where we picked up a buoy. Lucinda tells me that the novel Frenchman's Creek by Daphne Du Maurier was based on where we are. We went ashore in the water taxi for a drink in the village and we have just eaten on board.
