There was an extraordinary stillness on the river this morning. As we drifted out onto the sea the wind picked up to 10 knots and we sailed the 25 miles to Fowey in perfect conditions. We are moored facing this picture book town. A river taxi took us in and we have spent the afternoon exploring. After a waterside drink we will eat at a restaurant which has been recommended to us to mark Iain's last night on the boat.
