Howth Marina, Dublin bay

We've finally made it to Dublin, well near enough anyway. We had to wait until nearly noon for the tide to let us out of the Marina. There was little wind but a lumpy sea and uncomfortable swell. The sky was grey and it drizzled off and on. We ended up motoring the whole 40 miles but had time for a shower before going to a seafood restaurant. It was a shame that Alice's last day wasn't better. It's been wonderful having her on board and we have gone to three countries and had some varied sailing. She leaves tomorrow and we look forward to welcoming Michael and Ian on board.
