Life below decks is as important as above. We only motored a few miles today to moor above Neptunes Staircase. However breakfast had to be made, lunch was scrambled egg with smoked salmon with a view of Ben Nevis, the boat was cleaned and shopping done. David and Sophie are cooking supper and the hot water bottles will be prepared before we turn in tonight. On the canal showers and toilets are provided and at the moment the boat is hooked up to electricity. So goes the eternal rhythm of the sailor's life.
