Crinan Canal

A wonderful sail, the engine hardly used, the cruising chute up and the tide behind us for most of the way. Susan says 'eat my wake' referring to the boats we overtook. Michael has got into bread making and today's effort a Farmhouse White, as usual, was fabulous. A whale popped up a few metres in front of us scaring the living daylights out of me, and then it circled the boat. Incidentally it was my wedding anniversary, Lucinda's as well. We entered the Crinan canal and we're about to go to a fancy restaurant in the hotel.
