At Inverie, Loch Nevis

I didn't think I would be rounding the fearsome Ardnamurchan point in flat calm listening to the Archers. The forecast strong winds have so far failed to materialise and we weren't able to sail at all. We had a brief stop in Mallaig for supplies and are now lying on a buoy opposite the Old Forge pub, apparently mainland Britain's remotest pub. In an hour or so we will use the dingy to go ashore for supper there.

Having heared the name so many times on the shipping forecast I have always wondered what it's like. I guess it's not always so calm. Hope you liked the pub!
