Another day on Coll
The weather was glorious this morning. We hired bikes and cycled most of the way to the Eastern tip of the island. We found a sandy beach and went for a walk. On the way back we stopped at another beach and then it started to rain. We arrived back soaked. We saw seals and hares and loads and loads of sheep. We then got a marine electrician to look at our anchor problem and he said a relay has failed. The weather is better now and we're going ashore for a shower and our supper. We do get our feet wet every time we go in the rubber dinghy. We learned that Coll is the real location of the Katie Morag stories.

Hi David and Lucinda.
I've just called in at Karen's with Tom who is over from the US and she has shown us your blogs. Sounds wonderful and reminds me of all the fun we used to have on Rob and Karen's boat. I have very happy memories of Tobermory having arrived there by rail and then steamer in thick mist as the bagpipes were playing on the pier to welcome the boat. If it's not too late you may want to call in at Calgary on the NW corner of Mull.
Shall watch out for your further
exploits.
John
