Still in Bangor

If we were going to leave we would have had to go early to catch the tide. The 6am forecast predicted strong winds and big waves so we stayed put. It looks as though we may now be stuck until Monday or even Tuesday before the weather front passes through. The barometer has plummeted and rain is on its way. Mind you today was quite nice, a little cloudy with some drizzle but otherwise OK. We amused ourselves by taking the train into Belfast. One of the joys of sailing is that you get stuck in places you wouldn't otherwise choose to visit. We saw the cathedral, the customs house, the shopping centre and the shipyard (from a distance). We then had a cup of tea.

From what I remember Bangor is quite a good marina though the town isn't quite so nice. Nasty looking deep low going over, when do you think you will reach Dublin?
