We had a delightful meal last night with Harvey and Myrna Bernard who we met through family connections. Lyle many thanks for the introduction. We enjoyed meeting up with Harvey today on his yacht Pelingar. We made a late start after Lucinda had listened to the Archers omnibus edition. In my hurry to leave the pontoon I forgot to untie one of the stern lines. Somewhat embarrassing as I abandoned the line and we had to go back in to pick it up. A short but wonderful sail to Rothesay then followed and we managed to find Harvey a couple of miles from harbour and we followed him in. We then had tea with Harvey and his friend David before going ashore to look round the town castle. We decided to motor the couple of miles to the quieter marina where we will spend the night. The weather has been glorious and we've been sitting on deck reading the papers and watching the sun sink lower over the hills.
