Back in Kip Marina

We were watching a DVD last night and the sound went. By the time I had all the electronics exposed and the TV off the wall the screen had gone blank and the DVD was stuck in the machine. This morning it was raining and windless as we set off to motor the 30 miles back to Kip. We hadn't gone far before the radio packed up and then the VHF. A short time later the autopilot decided to send us in tight circles at full speed. Then the chartplotter and all the rest of the instruments stopped working. At this time we also lost all remaining battery power. We're leaving the boat here while we go back to London for a few days. The problems above have been added to the list detailing the lack of shore power, the broken windlass, the droopy anemometer, the bent stanchions and the broken cooker fiddles. Hopefully they will all be fixed when we return next Monday. Until then this blog is on holiday. Best wishes to all our followers. On our return we will start heading South.
